Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

Low key and delicious! This little Greek spot far surpassed my expectations. I had the lamb plate which came with a large Greek salad. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, tender and mouth watering. My hubby had the souvlaki and side salad, which he loved too. Attentive, friendly service made this a very pleasant lunch. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Very good! I enjoyed the hummus and pita side before my avgolemono soup. The soup reminds me of a lemony chicken noodle. Very tasty. Chased the apps with a very good gyro with feta. The meat is very flavorful and the feta smooth. Homemade tzatsiki... Yum! Very friendly service with great food.

Grow up in Florida, spent lots of time around a Greek community, eating lots of authentic foods. Decided to stop and give a try.... Sure am glad I did! Great gyro. During the summers, I stop by on my motorcycle and grab the gyro special to take home. Never been disappointed.

Yummy! Can't wait to come back to try new menu items. Humus was delicious. We tried the Village salad and Humus Sandwich. Even the kids liked all the food, especially the Mini Gyros. Friendly, family owned business with great customer service.

The waitress was great, the food was great, the price was great. I had the Santorini plate so I could try several things. The portion size of each of the things on the plate were pretty big. The lemon soup was great. The beans that came with the meal had a strong lemon flavor but were very good. I did not have room for dessert. I'm no Greek food expert, but I thought the food tasted great and that's all I care about.

Took my mom there yesterday after a pledge that we would skip the chain restaurants and try little local spots whenever in Coeur d'Alene. I had the chicken gyro with feta and she had the regular gyro. We also had a side of falafel. It was all so delicious! As I was almost finished with my gyro I felt actual regret that it was almost gone. Come here.... You won't be sorry and you will leave full.

Just flew in from GA. Came here based on reading reviews. Had Greek Lemon Chicken, Mousaka, and Santorini Plate. All food was delicious. Fast courteous service. Reasonable prices. Finishing off with Baklava, almond cookies and tiramisu. Will have to remember this place for future visits!

Very good dinner at Santorini's tonight! 2 apps, 2 mains & gratuity $50 Food; fresh, hot and delicious. Service way above par. This was the first of many visits!

Phenomenal! I'm doing the whole "Paleo" thing and the Gyro Salad was perfect and delicious! :)

This is a great little Greek restaurant on Government Way in Coeur d' Alene. The staff is very good and attentive. The food is very tasty and the salad and Greek speghetti highly recommended. The Gyros are great and also highly recommended. The prices are great too. You can't go wrong at this place. Go and enjoy!
(5)Tom F.
Excellent gyros and reasonably priced makes a great combination. A great place to go for a quick lunch or have it prepared for take-out. Staff are very helpful and pleasant, location is easy to get to, ample seating and a simple, pleasant atmosphere.
(5)Debbie F.
Great food, attentive waitresses and very comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for authentic Greek food this is a jewel. I would defintly eat here again.

Amazing Greek food. Great, fast service and amazing value! Best value for your dollar in north Idaho for Greek food. My wife and I are regulars and that's the way it'll stay!

I had the Santorini Platter which came loaded with Gyro meat, Dolmidas and Mousaka along with roasted potatoes, wonderful garlicky green beans and some pitta. Most impressed by the Mousaka which looked like it would sink me, but was actually surprisingly light and delicious - not heavy at all! The kids were impressed by the huge 'mini' Gyro wraps they got - along with french fries. My nine year old loved the Tsatsiki sauce that came on the side, the five year old, not so much, but that just gave dad a little extra to enjoy. Really neat little place and a great find for us. Loved it!

I love this whole-in-the wall Greek restaurant in the run down strip mall across from the fairgrounds. It is light, bright and clean. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. The hummus is tasty and the price is right.

Great Greek food, fast service, good prices. Really nice people, too!

Excellent, large portions. Eaten there many times and always very good.

I worked for the Greek owner of a Greek restaurant in Eugene, Oregon for a number of years in college as a prep cook, and learned to make many of the dishes under the guidance of Poppi, as she was called. We were looking for a casual place within a short distance of Honeysuckle Bay on Hayden Lake, and saw excellent ratings for this place on Yelp. We had the vegetarian dolmades, village salad and gyros with tzatziki dip. Everything was delicious. I could nit-pick and talk about the more upscale touches that were part of the menu when I worked at Poppi's, but omitted here, like pine nuts in the dolmades (which were admittedly a bit soft), and capers on the salad, but everything was fresh and flavorful, and for a strip mall location in N. Idaho, we were quite pleased. I'd go back if I was in the area again in a heartbeat. Good choice if you want fresh, want to avoid the chains and junk food, at a reasonable price. We were too full to try the desserts, but they looked yummy.
(5)Brian C.
Solid, basic, flavorful, approachable Greek fare, served in a clean, pleasant room by a smiling, helpful staff that take pride in their product. Hits: A wonderful, tangy Avgo Lemono soup done with orzo instead of rice, and delicious tzatziki sauce and salad dressing, unpitted olives and rich, salty feta. Gyro meat on the salad and sandwiches was moist and flavorful and portions were appropriate. Suggestion: serve your fries with a garlic tzatziki and feta, and maybe a sambal or other hot sauce optional.

One of my favorites!!! Best Gyro ever! My gal pal introduced me to this place and I keep sending people over to enjoy the amazing food. Service is prompt and the food is reasonably priced. Make sure you try the fries with the Gyro! Yum! The aesthetics are simple but functional and clean. You must go!
(5)Brian J.
We came up from LA and the food is awesome. Best gyro ever. Lemon chicken soup is to die for!
(5)Barbara M.
Took my husband here for his first time. He loved the food. Both of our meals were very good and the service was excellent.
(5)Jonathan B.
My wife and I shared the sample platter. Everything was delicious. Wife found the pita and hummus were fabulous. Hubby thought the dolmades were the star of the show. We both liked the tyropita. We'll definitely be back.
(4)Tara B.
Fabulous service and food! I was NOT raised on Greek food and really enjoyed the flavors! The cooks/owners are from GREECE! I had the HOMEMADE hummus....yes HOMEMADE with pita chips and they were tasty! I also had the Avgolemeno (Chicken Soup with Egg-Lemon Sauce) and Greek salad. The baklava was a little heavy on the filling. Do yourself a favor, quit reading this review and get in your car to eat here NOW!
(5)Bob S.
Very authentic, one of the only places I've been than actually makes Greek spaghetti. We had a great night - I was very happy with my dish, and the waitstaff was friendly and informative. They give you plenty of time between courses, which is nice not to feel rushed. I was raised on home-style Greek food, and this place has a wonderful selection of many Greek favorites. The kitchen is run by a Greek couple, and that pretty much guarantees a great food experience. The only downside (for me) is the baklava has too much filling, not enough pastry - and it's huge. But, I'm sure plenty of people enjoy that aspect of it - so I don't view it as a downgrade on the experience.

Love the goodness and quality of this Greek place. Just as good as my aunt's Greek food. Which is a shock considering u don't find to many authentic Greek restaurant's. Love there sample platter that had Gyro and spanokapita, homemade humus and some other's I can't remember I just ate it. Was so good. Love their calamari appetizer wasn't greasy or chewy. It was enjoyable and satisfying. My husband had their lamb and it was everything he hoped for.
(5)Patrick M.
Not much I can add here. Great food, and a near-hospital cleanliness. FWIW, I thought the seasoning was perfect, but my wife says " too much dill." The lemon chicken soup is the weak spot.
(5)Aaron D.
My hopes weren't too high for this little hole in the wall, but I was in for a surprise. It started with a quick and friendly greeting at the door and just kept getting better. I've eaten my share of Greek food all over the country and I must say Santorini's creates some of the best dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) I've ever had. Every spice and texture came through. Amazing egg lemon soup with perfectly done orzo. You could taste the love. Service was spot on throughout the meal. I only wish I'd left room for dessert. I can't wait to go back and try more.
(5)Patricia V.
Well, Yelp you did it again! What a find...married to my Hunny who is Macedonian is a testament to excellent Greek food! Unassuming place across from the fair grounds. A must for all to taste! Yummy! We will be back. Tried the grape leaves and the Gyro dinner...

This establishment offers the best Greek cuisine I've ever had at a reasonable price. Our family loves to eat here when we get the opportunity and the staff is always courteous. The atmosphere is pretty no frills if you dine in, but given the quality of the food that really isn't a problem. They offer excellent take-out dining as well for those days you want to eat while working or don't feel like being out. The only time I ever had a problem with my order they corrected it with a smile on their face. I can't say enough about how good the food here is and they have the best Gyros I've ever eaten.
(5)Clare W.
This place is worth the trouble to find! Located in a strip mall across from the fairgrounds. Santorini's NEVER FAILS to impress. Unpretentious, but sparkling clean and fresh, the setting is casual and the food is simple and simply wonderful! The Lemon Chicken Soup is my go-to comfort food, dining in our take out. The baba ganoush with warm, homemade pita bread is out of this world! The gyros are amazing, particularly the lamb. The wine list is small but covers the bases nicely. The only thing better than the food here is the warm and friendly service! Just writing this, I want to go back.

Super happy with my lunch decision! I'm from out of town and stopped here because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. The service was great, portions were good sized, and food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I started with the roasted red pepper humus with freash pita and had the lamb souvlaki. If youre ever in the area stop and have a bite you wont be sorry.
(5)Matthew E.
Been there twice for lunch and once for dinner. The food is great and the service is exceptional. My teen daughters love the gyros. You can tell the meals are prepared with love. Only caution is beware the seeds in the olives...ouch. I'll keep going back for sure.
(5)Alan K.
Still has the best Greek food in the valley - including the Spokane area. Great Greek food - don't let the strip mall scare you away. Real Gyros here and my wife loves the Avgo Lemano soup.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant of all time. I'm not Greek, but Greek is definitely my favorite cuisine and I've tried it in places up and down the west coast. No one comes close to Santorini's. The gyros are a gift from heaven, the souvlaki and spanikopita divine. I've never had baba ghanoush as good as this anywhere else. But my favorite part is easily the dessert. I live for their baklava. They also make this citrus custard dessert occasionally that is phenomenal. It's not available every day of the week, but when it is, it could bring a tear to my eye, it is sublime. The family that owns and operates the restaurant used to own the Olympia restaurant in downtown Cd'A and I used to eat there all the time. But several years ago the food changed and it just wasn't as good as it used to be. I was really sad when I discovered the business had been sold and was operated by someone who just couldn't keep up the same level of quality. It was a couple years that passed before I discovered the former owners of the Olympia had opened a new place. I was ecstatic, but also a little leery considering the location: it's in the middle of a strip mall across the street from the fairgrounds. But upon going inside I realized my fears were unnecessary, it had the same charm of the old location as well as the same terrific food that I had missed so terribly. The service is spectacular; very friendly, fast and attentive. The prices are awesome and the food is out of this world, I really can't recommend Santorini's enough.

Good food at a reasonable price. Nice hole-in-wall atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Service was fast and courteous. Will definitely be going back again.

We moved to Coeur d'Alene about 18 months ago from the San Francisco area. I was born and raised in the Greek culture and have eaten some of the best homemade Greek food there is. This restaurant is awesome! The only people in the kitchen are the owners who do all of the cooking, just like my YiaYia and Papou used to. We could not find an authentic home cooked Greek meal like this in San Francisco unless we were at home. We eat here all the time and are even on a special phone call list so when the owners make their Galatobuerko, so we can rush down and get some. You will not be disappointed by the Avgolemeno soup, Gyro's, Dolmathes in Avgolemeno sauce, everything is great!

I lived in Germany for 3 years and there was this amazing Greek place in our town and the owner was from Greece. It was amazing. Santorini's is even better! The lemon orzo soup - YUM! Gyros are fabulous. I forget the exact name but basically it's a delicious Greek lasagna thing made with grape leaves - AMAZING!!!
(5)Malia R.
Really enjoy their authentic Greek cuisine. The best gyros in the area, prices are reasonable
(5)Anita J.
The gyros are delicious! The best we've had. The service is fast and friendly. Mrs. Clean lives here. This place is a great stop for authentic Greek food.
(5)Hulda W.
Very cute decor for a little strip mall storefront. Clean and bright and fresh it was very welcoming. The Avgo Lemono Soup with Orzo was just yummy. The only thing that would have made the soup better would have been a bit of crusty, rustic bread instead of Saltines. It's confusing that the Greek Salad comes with lettuce but the Village Salad is the more authentic with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, calamata olives and feta cheese. My husband ordered the Greek Spaghetti and we were both surprised by how good it was. Very unusual spices and lots of meat sauce. All in all a pleasant surprise and we will definitely be back.
(5)Janet H.
I have avoided this restaurant because of the strip mall and I thought it looked like such a dive. We decided to take a chance because we love Greek food and we were not disappointed at all! The food was amazing, and I have eaten at many Greek restaurants around the country. The lemon chicken soup was to die for, and the homemade baklava is among the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere was quaint and the service was terrific!
(5)Patrick J.
I resisted the urge to dive into the pastry right away in favor of a steaming cup of homemade Avgo Lemono soup, the strongest evidence available that the marriage of chicken, lemon and herbs is a recipe for pure joy. I had to ask for extra napkins about halfway through my overstuffed falafel gyro. The waitress and I came to the conclusion together that sometimes messy just means its extra good. By the time I was finished, just as many lettuce bits, diced tomatoes and Kalamata olives ended up on my sweater as in my mouth, and my face was a mural of smeared feta and Tahini sauce.
